Timothy Down ( TIMMY D) a student at St Paul's School was was a founding member of the SPS Triathlon Team. He continued to be a keen competitor after he left the school and was instrumental in setting a  Triathlon group of Current students, Teachers and Past students. This group successfully competed in both the Mooloolaba Tri and the Noosa Tri teams events over the last few years.

After his untimely passing in an aircraft accident, this same group has continued to ride in his honour and his colours. The team has expanded to include his Uni mates, family , friends and pilot mates such that 13 teams plus individual entries competed in the Noosa 2005 Festival to "Do it for Timmy" with varying results and 6 individals and 10 teams raced in 2006.

Our support team includes a cheer squad, food and drinks  and a massage therapist in our tent near the track. We all wear red 'Doing it'  T shirts so if you can swim 1.5km or ride 40km or run 10km or do all three we would love you to join us. If you just want a fun day out or a weekend away join our support crew. We want to see a sea of red this year at Noosa and future events!
